While most Americans are teeing off with their friends at their local golf course during the summer months, 500 Home Run Club® members teed off in their own way during June.

On June 12th, 2004 Barry Bonds hit his 675th career long ball in leading his San Francisco Giants to a 9-6 victory over Rafael Palmeiro’s Baltimore Orioles. During the game, Raffy hit his 537th career dinger to make them only the third 500HRC duo ever to connect for homers during the same major league contest.

The other two to complete this feat where Willie Mays and Ernie Banks, who did so in 1970 in a game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, and Willie Mays and Hank Aaron who went the dual homer route the following year in Atlanta.
